COLLEGE ESSAY TUTORING
Through 1:1 private tutoring though Zoom, I will meet with students 2-3 times a week to coach them through all of their college essays. This package includes consulting with students to create their college list with the best set of schools for them to continue their dream and figuring out what type of writing they excel at to help guide them in captivating storytelling. I mainly worked with students who have interest in the humanities, writing, and creative studies. I often urge students to be experimental to allow them to find different methods of writing and communicating.
대학교 입시 에세이 과외
1:1 온라인 과외 통해서, 학생들이랑 일주일에 2-3번 수업 하면서 뭐든 대학교 입시 에세이를 도와줍니다. 여름 수업은 1시간 수업, 가을에는 2-3시간 수업입니다. 저랑 과외를 하면서 어떤 학교가 학생한테 성격이랑 맞는지를 같이 연구하고 또한 무슨 글로 재미있게 자기 스토리를 전달 할 수 있는지도 처음부터 목표 하고 수업을 진행합니다. 저는 주로 문과, 문학 전공, 예술, 미술, 디자인, 음악 학생들이랑 작업을 많이 했습니다. 제가. 가르친 학생들은 Yale, UPenn, Brown, Cornell, 등등 입학했습니다.
ART PORTFOLIO
Through 1:1 private tutoring on Zoom, students will meet with me 2-3 times a week for 2 hours to help them with their art making for their art portfolio. This art portfolio tutoring also includes helping the students write their artist statement, art descriptions, and curating the order of their art pieces. After understanding the students interests, I will introduce them to contemporary artworks by the masters as well as emerging artists to help them find their own style and voice in their art. High school students have the ability to learn so much at this age and with an open mind, I have seen art from my students that are better than collegiate level art. Most of my students have been those interested in photography, video art, film, graphic design, installation art, performance but I have also taught students interested in painting, fashion, animation, and more.
미술 입시 포트폴리오 과외
최대한 빨리 시작 하는 것 이 좋습니다. 대학교 입시 포트폴리오가 대학교 마다 조금씩 달라서, 여러 군데를 지원하는 관계로 일찍 준비해야 합니다. 미술 전공으로 들어가고 싶으시면, 제일 중요한 포트폴리오를 학교에서 요구하는 대로 각기 다르게 만들어야 하기 때문에 최대한 빨리 여름부터 수업을 시작 하는 것이 유리하고 가을 시작은 늦습니다... 모든 미술 수업은 여름에는 2시간이고, 3시간 수업은 가을부터 시작합니다. 작품 설명 그리고 아티스트 스테이트먼트 (에세이)도 같이 진행합니다. 학생들 관심사도 파악 하고, 과외 통해서 새로운 작가들, 실험적인 작업을 소개하면서, 학생의 작품 스타일을 찾아가면서 작품을 만드는 매우 중요한 과정을 빨리 시작해야합니다.. 제 학생들은 주로 사진, 영상, 영화, 디자인, 설치 미술, 퍼포먼스 작업을 했지만, 패션, 스컬프쳐, 페인팅, 애니메이션과를 지망한 학생들도 많이 과외 했습니다.
